Small development shops can use this entire suite not only to perform the functionality included in the package, but to learn how to write solid RPGIV source code. Basic file maintenance, inquiry, and error-handling programs as well as more complex subfile processing programs allow developers a wide range of RPGIV programming examples.
These templates are predefined models that you can either copy or use directly to create standard application programs. All programs have uniform interfaces and require little modification to base functionality. These templates create a basis from which standards are propagated and so allow ease of use towards customization and modification.
